What materials do you use?
Gem Ceilings and Walls Specialists Limited use only high quality materials from trusted brand name suppliers like Jewsons, British Gypsum and Wondertex to name but a few.
We do not believe in using or supplying second rate materials in order to save costs.
We will always highlight our recommended option and explain any shortfalls or potential issues with a cheaper option before the customer confirms.

Sure you can. You can request a copy from us on Job commencement.

Can I spread the cost of my job?
For large jobs, we offer a service where we will invoice you several small "drawings" during the works to help ease the burden of paying the full price at the end.
This allows us to move quickly on as we are not waiting on funds and it also breaks down the payment for yourself.
Each "drawing" is fully laid out as to how much is owed, how much has already been paid (if applicable) and how much is left owing.
These "draws" will be at set milestones in your job so that we can sit down with you and discuss how things are progressing and where we are heading next.

When we send out our remittance to you for payment you can choose from the following methods to pay.

If I am away, can I see what you are doing?
Yes! We take photos of our progress as we commence working on your job. We will take photos before we start the job, during the job and finally afterwards.
Should anything unexpected occur, we will photo what we have found and contact you immediately to discuss what has been found and what to do.
If you are away on holiday, we can send you a daily journal of how we are getting on via email and a simple link to see the photos.

How much mess will be made?
The amount of dust, waste material and spill will vary according to the job at hand.
We take great care to ensure that we cover all areas that our staff are working in with clean heavy duty dust sheets or new tarpaulins in order to protect the surfaces underneath.
Our staff will, during the course of the day, will have multiple clean up stops as required to make sure they are working in a clean environment.
At the end of each day, our staff will have a full clean up behind them, ensuring all rubbish is removed, surfaces are cleaned and floors are hoovered and cleared of any spoil.
We will ensure that you, the customer, are happy with the condition of the room/area we have been working in before we finish a job and will only sign off once you are happy!
